Our TechnologyInnovations in the smartphone supply chain and cloud computing have opened up entirely new horizons for legacy industries.
Today crews can carry internet-enabled mobile phones to pull up work orders, capture photos and videos, access site-specific information and update headquarters on work progress. GPS and 3G-enabled dongles (OBD-II) provide realtime crew tracking. In more advanced applications, Internet of Things (IoT)-enabled devices can enable predictive ("this compressor will likely fail within two weeks; replace now and prevent the HVAC unit from going down") and automated reactive maintenance (automated dispatches from the field that assets are malfunctioning or nonfunctional) All of our work is managed by a cloud-based "Enterprise Resource Management (ERP)" system that tracks everything from work orders to notes, photos to time stamps. On top of that is an "Analytics Engine" which helps us to sort through the data. And finally the "Business Intelligent Dashboards" use the lower two layers to present information in a way that supports decision-making. . |
Continuous Experiments |
Experimentation offers a type of learning you can't read about. It's firm and application-specific and fully in your control. With how fast technology evolves today, if you don't have experiments in the field, pilot projects and instances of "serious play" then you're likely behind. We want to be sure that the best technology available is used to serve our customers.

Comprehensive Platform |
As opposed to a patchwork of systems held together by an intrepid corporate staff, with spreadsheets as duct tape, we've remained committed to the "single instance database" approach. With cloud deployment, it's scalable. Without massive user input, it's much more reliable and efficient.

Tech-saavy Vendors |
Even if you have the greatest IT systems, if your vendors are stuck in the age of "going to send a fax down at the Piggly Wiggly," then you are in trouble. We specifically select and rate our vendors on tech-savviness. That means they own and deploy smart-phones and tables, have internet access and the ability to work well with our software (and that of helpful 3rd parties).
